FAQ – Bunny Business Products

1. Safety

Q: Are your products safe for my rabbit?
A: Yes! All our products are made with pet-safe materials. Our hay rollers, open-air hay feeders, and x-pen brackets are non-toxic and designed to be safe for chewing and everyday use. We rely on extensive testing with our own rabbits and customer feedback—so far, they’ve been completely safe.

Q: Can my rabbit chew off pieces and swallow them?
A: Our products are designed to be chew-resistant. PLA (used for 3D-printed parts) is non-toxic. Still, we always recommend supervising your pet as they play as broken parts could pose a choking hazard.

2. Durability

Q: Will these products hold up to heavy chewing?
A: Yes! Our hay rollers, feeders, and x-pen brackets are built to last. Many of our customers have heavy-chewing rabbits, and our products continue to perform well over weeks of daily use.

Q: What if a part breaks?
A: While our products are designed to be very durable, no product is completely indestructible. If something unexpected happens, reach out to us—we’re happy to help with replacements or troubleshooting.

3. Sustainability & Materials

Q: Are these products eco-friendly?
A: We’re committed to sustainable production! Our products are made from PLA, a plant-based, biodegradable, and non-toxic plastic. Open-air hay feeders and x-pen brackets are made with durable, long-lasting materials to reduce waste.

Q: What is PLA? Is it safe for pets?
A: PLA (polylactic acid) is made from renewable resources like corn starch. It’s food-safe, non-toxic, and widely used for items that come into contact with humans and animals. Our 3D printing process helps minimize waste compared to traditional manufacturing.

Q: What are your goals for sustainability?
A: We aim to become a zero-waste company by 2026. Current initiatives include:

  • Recycling all filament waste from 3D printing

  • Composting cardboard filament rollers

  • Using eco-friendly shipping materials (paper and cardboard, no plastic)

4. Cleaning & Care

Q: How do I clean my hay roller, feeder, or x-pen bracket?
A: Most of our products can be washed with warm, soapy water. PLA parts should not be exposed to high heat, so avoid boiling water or dishwashers. Open-air hay feeders and x-pen brackets can be wiped down or rinsed as needed.

5. Shipping & Returns

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not yet, but stay tuned!

Q: What if my product arrives damaged?
A: Contact us immediately with photos of the item. We’ll work with you to provide a replacement or solution as quickly as possible.

Q: Can I return a product?
A: We accept returns on unused items within 30 days of purchase. Please reach out to our support team for instructions.

Q: Can I order custom colors or sizes?
A: We occasionally offer new colors or limited-edition designs. Custom orders may be available—contact us to check what’s possible!
